I ve never had a snowboard move back while being clamped in this is from my experience with my equiptment.
Put away a snow board on roof.
Push the snow off the closest edge to where you are standing where you are able to move across the roof.
Once you ve tuned and waxed your snowboard which we ll cover in steps 3 and 4 you re ready to put the bindings back on.
A variety of ski and snowboard carriers are available.
Stand where you will be able to drag the broom toward and past you to sweep the snow to the ground below rather than pushing it across the surface.
To carry your skis or snowboards on a roof rack you ll need a carrier designed for this use.

If you ve got to show off your board on the roof rack put a good rope.
Just make sure the rubber in the rack is really clamped down tight.
Depending on your snowboard and how you position your feet you ll have several options.
Put your board with bindings on it in the bag and fasten that to the roof rack.
Sweep away the remnants of the snow on the roof after removing the excess.
Small bungee cords may be useful.

Use a screwdriver to remove the bindings and keep track of how they were positioned.
Arrange it so the straps to not slack so they don t slap the roof of the car when at speed.
