Another common entry for epdm rubber roofing problems is puddles of water forming on your roof. Epdm roofs are fully adhered or as many call it glued down.

If the rubber does develop cracks or leaks it is possible to fix these quickly yourself with a coat of liquid rubber latex tape or sealant. You will want to make sure all seams are sealed and any cracks that appear are quickly fixed though this may not be a major problem as most rubber roofs are uv resistant. Spf roofing must be recoated regularly and can tear when scraped by tree limbs and flying debris.
