Preweathered zinc miters also known as corner pieces are the gutter fittings that connect two half round zinc gutters at 90 degree inside and outside corners.

Preweathered zinc downspouts are available in 3 or 4 plain round. The zinc miters are all stamped from one piece with no factory seam in the middle which provides for a clean transition between the gutters. Miters get installed on the outside of the adjacent gutters. Over time preweathered zinc gutters and downspouts form an unstructured protective layer uniform in appearance from basic zinc carbonate which is patina.

Like copper patina this forms due to weathering and the anti corrosive properties protect zinc downspouts from deterioration.
