Applying venetian plaster is also a great way to add character to boring or dated looking wall surfaces such as those found in many homes built in the 1970s and 1980s.

The plaster is applied in usually 3 thin coats which can be of differing colours to give a depth and sometimes textured effect to the work not felt in any kind of normal plastering. Pleasant light and shade effects owing to its visible workmanship gives it a sense of depth. Mostly used on interior walls or ceilings it mimics the multi toned three dimensional effect of natural. The age old surface treatment of venetian plaster is making a comeback in modern homes.

We offer a large range of italian plasters with beautiful effects expensive looking finishes adding richness and unique. Surfaces can appear beautifully marbled with the darker colours giving deep marbled vein effects which shine to a wonderful luster. Apply a thin coat of stucco fine using either a pavan 825 a pavan 816 pit or similar. Carrara venetian plaster can be very smooth and satiny.

This may be due to the deep glossy marble effect that it creates which helps create unique and stunning rooms. Leave to dry and harden for at least 3 4 hours. This coat can be coloured for different veining and marbling effects.
